Welcome to St Laurence Church

The church stands on a low rise on the north bank of the River Avon just off the High Street in the centre of the old village of Bidford.

Set in a conservation area, there are unimpeded views of the church across the flood meadows to the south of the river.

In appearance, the church is a typical stone built medieval English country church with a west tower, nave with north and south aisles, and a chancel.

Most of the windows have plain glass, which gives the church a light and airy feel, although there is some stained glass, mainly in the chancel. Many people comment on the feeling of peace they experience on entering the building.

The church seeks to serve the whole parish by providing a variety of services while centred on a sacramental, 'catholic', ministry.
